The People’s Ball is an annual gathering of Filipino American luminaries in the New York-New Jersey area whose purpose is to strengthen community bonds, promote Filipino culture in the United States, and celebrate Filipinos’ impact on American society.In addition, the event also became the hub of business professionals across the world to convene and share ideas and opportunities. Every year, the glittering ball is highlighted by the Empowerment Awards, conferred on outstanding Filipino American accomplishments in business and professional endeavors, public service, health care and the humanities.
